sUnDAy...8-Feb-09,"PlAy gRoUNd dAyS"....

Sunday....8-Feb-09, Mommy, Tommy, Uncle Sean, Frankie, and Tashi took us to the Playground. First we went to Linkhorne Elem. school. Then, we left and went to Riverside park.

We played on the playground while Sean, Tommy and the dog's went walking! Look how much fun we had...........

It was so much fun, we climbed the monkey bars, we went Sliding,we were swinging, we were laughing,we were playing. We were ready for burning energy, that's for sure!! ..............

The day was so pleasant. The sky was blue. It gave us ALL spring fever! Afterwards, we all went to eat. Weather like this makes you itch for warmer days. If only the whole year could be like today.

NYC And Landons Birthday 12/26/08....6 years old!!

Okay.....Go Ahead give me a hard time! I am blogging completely out of chronological order, I know! That's a great big NO, NO!!!! But then I realized that I have been so busy DOING HOMEWORK for the last few moths that I hadn't blogged about any of the holidays since Halloween. What a bad mother am I?
......Please don't answer that one!!!

For the most part our Christmas was exciting! Santa came with glorious gifts for all and the kids seem very satisfied with what was delivered! Landon received many things from robots, to Wii, army tanks, books,

video games...etc......Alexus being the Dora fan that she is of course received many things having to do with Dora the Explorer, books, babies, and a life like Kitchen that would put our real kitchen to shame! Of course she will now have to obtain some real kitchen skills and give me a break from cooking every now and again. Whew! I can't wait!

We were also very blessed to be able to shar e this experience with Tommy's family. They are such wonderful people. They made extra special sure that no one was left out. Let me include that being a family of both Polish and Italian backgrounds our Christmas dinner was nothing less than a feast that could feed and entire army and a family of at least 20 people were present. Wow! What an amazing dinner it was.

Then came the day after Christmas......LANDON"S BIRTHDAY!!! SIX years old! OMG!!! He's growing up fast. he received a Nintendo DS along with games. We also took him to a birthday place called, "The castle." We had a cake made in "Batman", skating, go-kart riding, video games and rock climbing. He had a great time! See the pic's?

What a wonderful Christmas it was! .............Then came the ringing in of 2009! Let me tell you how great that was. Let's just say after about a 10 hour journey home from NY after Christmas( thanks to kids and bathroom breaks), to spend TWO days home so Tommy could go back to work to have off again for a Four day weekend the last thing you'd think we'd do is get back in a car. Who us? Travel? No!!! OH YES WE DID..........We were invited to Tommy's Brother's(Eric) Best friends Family ( who is of Spanish,Puerto Rico) decent, home just 30 min. outside Atlantic City, NJ. For us is about a 6 hour drive uninterrupted ( w/ bathroom breaks). We went there last year w/out kids and it was a blast! This year was no different....except their basement was further improved by adding the new Projection screen theatre, air hockey table, & new flat screen televisions (2) to the already awesome "man" basement completely decorated with NY Giants memorabilia, huge dance floor, fully stocked bar, Foosball table, popcorn machine. We never ventured to AC this time w/ kids but, that was ok! We all still had a blast!

A Howling good time .......Great Wolf Lodge!

Well.....Tommy was off to Vegas with the guys. The kids, my mom, friends Tabitha, her son... Dawson, and I were off to Great Wolf Lodge. Chase chose...NOT to go....he has no idea what he missed out on, sorry Chase we sure did miss you! This hotel is indescribable in every way. You have to experience it to understand. Imagine a HUGE hotel that looks like an extremely large log cabin both inside and out. It has every amenity you and you child(ren) can ever imagine or want. They have everything from buffets, Magic Quest, pastry, ice cream, and Starbucks coffee shop, arcade, Spa ( adults and children too), gift shops, and best of all the LARGEST INDOOR WATER PARK EVER!!!

We arrived around 7 pm Wednesday night ...checked in our room. Rushed in to get everyone changed so that they could enjoy what was left of the available time to enjoy the water park that evening. We returned to the room everyone nestled in to bed......awe the angels are sleeping! Wow!!! It's been such a long time since I have had most of my little angels in my care! Oh how I love them. This moment is PRICELESS! I wish I could stop time and never let this moment go! ........

Anyhow, the next morning came quickly and the clan was ready to partake in the water park...but, first things first.....Breakfast!! We went to the restaurant and ravaged ourselves in this extraordinary breakfast, that read on the menu feeds a family of four. Let me tell you that description an understatement....FOUR it said....well when breakfast was delivered it could have fed an army. There were 7 of us and everyone of us was fed well and had we still had plenty left overs.Right after breakfast the kiddies were itching to invade the water park. Needless to say, we adults were not looking forward to exposing or lavishly white winter droned bodies.

Soon after entering the park zone we ladies accustomed ourselves quickly to the surroundings and chose to indulge ourselves in the water and on the slides with the kiddos! Check out these shots of the FUN we all had!!! It'll make you want to go yourself.....trust me ! This is a memory I'll hold dearly close to me forever , here on out!!

Thomas Road Baptist Church....Kid's Cove

Election day, rain, and three kids and not a thing to do except PLAY AT KID"S COVE!!! Actually it was the perfect thing to do. Grab some Mc Donald's breakfast, the kids, and my laptop, a camera, homework, and whatever else you can think of and head'em out!

I had Landon, Soyer(Landon's BF since birth), and Alexus in tow, along with lots of photos to blog, Friends to meet and greet, and homework that seems to never end. So what else is a girl to do?

PLAY!!!!! And that is exactly what I did! ...........

While we were there, Low and behold in came my most missed prized possesions, Chase & Dakotah. Oh how my heart yearns to be with them, to have and to hold, to kiss and to comfort. You have no idea how my heart breaks when I see them and no that I am not tucking them in everynight. Kissing their precious foreheads. Nuturing their every cold and discomfort. Telling them "it'll be alright", when they have been hurt or scared. Heck, I even miss holding out my hands to catch the throw up when they are sick(as disgusting as that may seem). Oh how my heart breaks. If they only knew how much I MISS THEM!! I've tried to tell them but, it seems as if all he trials and tribulations of my recent divorce from thier father has burdened their hearts and trashed their minds from seeing truth .........How much I miss and Love them!!

Boys if ever you read this: " I LOVE YOU AND HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU....YOU ARE NOT FOGOTTEN!"- mom

gHoULs AnD GoBbLiNS........HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

"TRICK OR TREAT!", said Landon and Lexi. Door to door we went merrily down the road toting bags full of sweet, delicious candies and snacks, prizes, and pencils. Anticipation grew upon the arrival of every new doorstep and eyes grew wide as every door opened, not knowing if they would come face to face with a ghoul or gobblin themselves.

We started the evening just before dark w/ our friends Tabitha and her son Dawson(Darth Vador).

Landon ( Ironman) and Lexi(Fairy Princess) were so excited. Around the block we went only once, while Uncle Sean, Eric(Tabitha's hubby), and Tom stayed at home handing out candy .Tom bless his heart stayed home and cooked Lasagna, garlic bread( for the little vampires), and salad for dinner. It was WONDERFUL. Later, after dinner, we all just hung out and chatted, played video games, and kids played. What a spooktacular evening it truly was.....in deed! BOO!!!!

Four Generations of life.......

One weekend....one moment...A Great Grandfather...A Grandmother... A Mother .....and four children.....four generations......WOW! Can you believe it? Priceless!

My Grandfather ( Paul Streiner), the short little gray haired man, standing only 4'11"....of German decent. Looks boyish himself. Dressed appropriately would be hard to distinguish between him and the kids. LOL!! Isn't he cute?

Growing up he and my(late) grandmother were always the disciplinary, educating, and stabilizing factors in my life. They were my summer care takers for much of my childhood, growing up. They were my mothers blessings when all other resources failed.Single motherhood for her was very trying, I'm sure.

This one weekend recently, in September 2008, My Grandfather, Mother, I and the kids all spent the day at John's for the sake of my Grandfather seeing his GREAT Grandchildren before the inevitable happens. Hopefully not soon.

At 87 this little man who's ideals, morals and values to this day are instilled in me and will be instilled in the minds of my children is the Man who's memory I will hold dear to my heart.

I love you Grandpa!
